The PFA Lined Swing Check Valve is specifically engineered for highly corrosive chemical pipeline systems, providing reliable backflow prevention while maintaining exceptional chemical resistance and media purity.
By combining a CF8 (304 stainless steel) external body with a full PFA-lined internal flow path, this valve delivers outstanding durability, leak-free performance, and long service life in aggressive operating environments.
It is widely used in chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, electroplating, semiconductor manufacturing, and hydrometallurgy applications.
All wetted parts of the valve are completely lined with high-purity PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy), creating a chemically inert barrier between the process medium and the metal body.
This construction enables the valve to safely handle strong acids, alkalis, halogens, oxidizers, and organic solvents, including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, aqua regia, bromine, and various aggressive chemical mixtures.
The full lining effectively eliminates corrosion, erosion, and metal ion contamination.
The valve features a precision swing check structure, allowing the disc to open automatically under forward flow and close instantly when flow reverses, preventing backflow and system contamination.
Advanced lining and molding processes ensure that the PFA lining is tightly bonded to the CF8 stainless steel body, with no gaps or voids. The sealing surfaces typically use PFA-to-PFA or PFA reinforced composite materials, ensuring stable, long-term sealing performance even under frequent operation.
The ultra-smooth PFA surface offers a very low friction coefficient, effectively preventing crystal formation, scaling, and media adhesion. This makes the valve ideal for high-purity, crystallizing, or particle-sensitive fluids, while simplifying system cleaning and maintenance procedures.
The external valve body is manufactured from ASTM A351 CF8 (304 stainless steel), providing excellent mechanical strength and pressure resistance. This robust metal shell protects the internal PFA lining from external impact and pipeline stress.
Standard ANSI and JIS flange connections ensure easy installation, excellent interchangeability, and compatibility with global piping systems.
Compared to conventional stainless steel or plastic check valves, the PFA lined swing check valve offers significantly longer service life in corrosive environments, greatly reducing downtime, replacement frequency, maintenance costs, and safety risks associated with leakage or corrosion failure.
