Glass microsphere filled PTFE gasket is an enhanced PTFE sealing material engineered to deliver superior anti-creep performance, improved mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. By uniformly dispersing rigid glass microspheres within a PTFE matrix, this composite gasket ensures stable sealing performance under fluctuating temperature, pressure, and long-term bolt load. It is widely used in critical industrial environments where both chemical inertness and dimensional stability are essential.
High Anti-Creep and Anti-Cold Flow Performance: Glass microspheres significantly reduce PTFE’s tendency to deform under sustained load, maintaining sealing stress and preventing long-term leakage.
Excellent Chemical Resistance: Retains most of pure PTFE’s outstanding resistance to strong acids, alkalis, solvents, and corrosive media.
Higher Mechanical Strength: Enhanced compressive strength and dimensional stability allow it to withstand higher flange loads than pure PTFE gaskets.
Lower Bolt Load Requirement: Requires less torque to achieve effective sealing compared with pure PTFE, simplifying installation and reducing equipment stress.
Broad Temperature Range: Suitable for -200°C to +260°C (short-term up to 280°C), performing reliably in both cryogenic and high-temperature applications.
Clean & Hygienic: Non-toxic material compliant with hygiene requirements for food, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries.
Superior Long-Term Seal Stability: Maintains thickness and sealing tension even under continuous load.
Resistant to Industrial Chemicals: Ideal for corrosive fluids and aggressive processing conditions.
Dimensional Stability Under Load: Avoids over-compression, ensuring consistent performance.
Easy Installation: Lower torque requirement reduces installation difficulty and maintenance costs.
Wide Application Flexibility: Performs reliably in both extreme cold and high heat.
Chemical & Petrochemical: Reactors, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, and pipelines handling corrosive chemicals.
Industrie pharmaceutique et biotechnologique : Purified water systems, fermentation tanks, and hygienic process lines requiring high cleanliness.
Food & Beverage: Filling equipment, processing pipelines, and mixing tanks where contamination must be avoided.
Semiconducteurs et électronique : High-purity chemical and ultrapure water distribution systems.
Power & Energy: Flue gas desulfurization units, compressors, and pump sealing.
General Industry: Any corrosive media pipeline requiring reliable flange sealing.
Uniform Composite Structure: Even dispersion of glass microspheres ensures consistent performance without weak points.
Enhanced Rigidity: Maintains shape during handling and pre-installation.
Customizable Options: Available in various thicknesses, diameters, and filler ratios tailored to specific operating conditions.
